Perks of Flying Business Class

I recently went to the US and flew business class via Delta Airlines. I will say that it was something that every traveler should experience even just once.

There are so many perks that a business class passenger can enjoy. The very first thing that I enjoyed was the “priority treatment”. It was really nice to have been given the priority when you “check in” since there is no need to be at the regular queue at all.

After showing the plane ticket, prompt service will be provided right away. Priority is also given during “on boarding” because you get to file into the plane first. I enjoyed settling in without the crowd and got priority service from accommodating flight attendants while the economy class passengers are still waiting at the gate. The best thing was the “welcome champagne” which greeted me immediately.

Flying to the US takes more than 10 hours and that means sitting for the same length of time. Inside the plane. In Business Class, the seats are much bigger and better which provide comfort to passengers.

The seats can be reclined moreover, it can also be turned into lie-flat beds where you can just stretch out your legs as far as you can and more importantly enjoy your personal space. There’s also an extra space at your seat, including a decent tray that can double as a desk. Indeed, a little extra space goes a long way to a healthy, happy in-flight experience. By the way, it also has privacy door.

There are more perks which add to a remarkable business class experience. They are fine dining and enhanced entertainment. The food is totally great from light snack to a multi-course meal. You get to decide exactly what you prefer and ask for it anytime you want it. The good thing about the menu was the fact that it was crafted by famous chefs. AND, there’s even real, metal cutlery, clean plates and a white tablecloth.

For the inflight entertainment, you get much bigger screen and have exclusive access to extra channels. Another added attractions is a range of connection ports for mobile phones and also wi-fi connectivity from take-off to touch-down.

The last awesome perk that I have to mention is the lounge access. Business class passengers have an automatic entry to private airport lounges. In my case, since I flew Delta Airlines, I got to enjoy the Sky Club Lounge in Manila, Japan and Seattle.

It is the best place to be while killing time. I love the relaxation areas. There are lots of comfy seat, private sleeping space, shower facilities, concierge services plus exclusive meal offerings from buffets to a la carte dining.
