I want to say that there's more to an excellent movie than most people think. Views and opinions come down to personal taste at all times. On the other hand, there are only some movies that almost everyone can agree as great movies.
We need to look for certain components: the plot and characters of the story. I will articulately utter that good quality movie’s story should be something believable which will make us wonder and have the feeling like it could happen to us. Moreover, the movie should have a fascinating and appealing characters which will make the viewers empathize and care about what happens all throughout the cinematic journey.
Fortunately, this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival entries were all good. I got excited when the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2016 Executive Committee announced that the full list of official entries were mostly independent films. They have actually ruled this year.
The committee announced that their main concern was quality instead of commercial value.
