Whenever I go to a new place, I make sure that I try a must do in that particular place. One fussy thing I did most recently was visit the famous restaurant in Royal Oak , Michigan called Gus’s.
I was with a company of good friends. The place was crowded the first time we went there (NOTE: We visited this resto specifically 3 times) however, we able to get a table real quick. The waitress who took our orders was sweet and more than gracious.

We waited for like 30 minutes and when the food arrived, they were actually piping hot. I was glad to see that the chicken cooked with crispy skin but no coating, super crispy and juicy. Let me say, that the food was worth the wait.

Nevertheless, the resto was just a little hole in the wall with very few tables but it is really worth stopping in for the fried chicken. I took note of what they claimed: We only serve fresh, never frozen, natural, hormone-free chicken and fry everything in peanut.”

I also would like to agree on what’s written on their glass window:
"If you haven't eaten at Gus's,
you haven't eaten fried chicken."
