A few months back, my eldest niece Jade asked me to accompany her to watch the broadway musical “The Lion King”. May is our birth month. She had hers on the 4th and mine was on the 12th. She convinced me that seeing the show is a good way of celebrating our birthdays and I agreed. Since we’re both busy, we decided to see its last Saturday run.
The actors and their singing voices were spectacular and had given me goose bumps. They showcased powerful singing all throughout the show.
The sets, props, costumes and performances were all totally breathtaking and outstanding. I most especially enjoyed the animals on hand and feet stilts for they were super impressive.
The show was indeed well worth seeing. I have seen many shows over the years, but this is one of the best theater performances I have ever seen.
All in all, I highly recommend this to anyone who loves musicals. Perfect for kids and adults alike from curtain up to curtain down.
