Hongkong is a very busy city and getting out of that active district scene is highly recommended. My big bro Gary being a cool tourist guide made it a point to bring me to a secluded place away from the metropolis called Ngong Ping Village

The best and fun way to get up to the village is by riding a Ngong Ping Cable Car. I asked my big bro that I prefer taking a crystal/glass bottom cable car. The adventurous in me once more surfaced. However, it was a bit scary seeing the view below. Nevertheless, the surrounding sights are astounding in all directions.

The ride was not really and only took about less than 15 minutes. As the cable car moves towards the village, the views proved to be very breathtaking and remarkable, particularly when we got closer to the village and saw the gigantic Buddha from a distance.

I understood that Ngong Ping Village was constructed with the sole purpose of attracting tourists. And I would say it really is worth visiting. It is situated at Lantau Island. The gigantic Buddha alone made me stunned.
